Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
KeepPlay is a personal game-tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. Plain language, no fine print.
What we collect
- Account: your email address. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we also receive your name, email and avatar from them.
- Your content: the games you add and everything you set on them — status, tier, ranking, collections, reviews and the playtime you enter.
- Technical: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and basic server logs needed to run and secure the service.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade your data. There are no ads, and no third-party advertising or tracking.
How we use your data
Only to run your account: save and display your library, tiers and collections, and send the few essential emails you'd expect (sign-up confirmation and password reset).
Who processes it for us
To run KeepPlay we rely on a small set of providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU (Ireland).
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Cloudflare — media delivery (CDN) and DNS.
- Resend — sending the account emails above.
- Google and Discord — only if you choose to sign in with them.
Game titles, cover art and metadata come from public game databases (IGDB, RAWG). That involves no personal data about you.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in the European Union (Supabase, Ireland).
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your data or your whole account at any time — contact us and we'll remove it.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Just email us.
Children
KeepPlay isn't intended for anyone under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
